Most chandeers\' frames are shipped out semi-assembled. Some smaller size frames  consist of 3 or 4 separate pieces which require some assembly time.  Assembly times vary from model to model. Frames and crystals are  packed separately for safe and secure devery. It is very easy to assemble the chandeer if you follow the instructions.  The crystal strand is prepared for you and just need to hang it onto the fixture.  The installation instructions will show you the exact location.
